230NP 234AM A DECAY 1990Ha02 24NDS 202408

230NP c 2004Sa05: {+233}U({+6}Li,5n), E=51.0 MeV. Measured |a, x-ray; Si, Ge
230NP2c detectors. Earlier results reported in 2002As08, 2003Na10, 2002AsZX.
230NP c $ 1990Ha02: {+234}Am produced through {+237}Np(|a,7n) reaction at 75
230NP2c MeV. Electron capture-delayed fission and |a decay were studied by
230NP3c depositing reaction products on a rotating wheel system which cycled
230NP4c through pairs of silicon detectors. Elemental assignemnt was
230NP5c confirmed through radiochemical analysis and subsequent decay
230NP6c measurement.
234AM P 0.0 2.32 M 8 6800 SY
234AM cP $An |a branch 6460|a, %|a=0.039 {I12} from {+234}Am was reported by
234AM2cP 1990Ha02 and 1974ArYU; however, not seen by 2004Sa05. An upper limit
234AM3cP of 0.04% is given by 2004Sa05 (also reported in 2002As08, 2003Na10).

230NP cA $This |a decay is reported in 1990Ha02 with the same half-life as the
230NP2cA observed spontaneous-fission activity assigned to {+234}Am. It was
230NP3cA not observed in (2004Sa04), but the upper limit placed on the |a
230NP4cA branch (%|a < 0.04) is consistent with the intensity observed in
230NP5cA 1990Ha02.
