217AC c  1989Mi17: {+221}Pa was populated using {+209}Bi({+16}O,4n) with
217AC2c  E({+16}O)= 87 - 102 MeV from SF Cyclotron at INS. The reaction
217AC3c  products were separated from beam by gas filled recoil separator
217AC4c  (GARIS); surface barrier detectors were used at the focal plane for
217AC5c  particle identification. Time distribution between
217AC6c  the arrival of the reaction products at the Si-detectors and their
217AC7c  subsequent |a-particle decays were measured. The TAC-range was 40 |ms.
217AC8c  Measured E{-|a} and T{-1/2}.
217AC c  1983Hi12: {+221}Pa was populated using {+186}W({+40}Ar,4n) with
217AC2c  E({+40}Ar)= 189 MeV at UNILAC, GSI using velocity filter SHIP facility
217AC3c  and surface barrier detector. Measured E{-|a} and T{-1/2}
217AC CA HF$Using r{-0}({+217}Ac)=1.547 {I12}, from interpolation of
217AC2cA r{-0}({+216}Ra)=1.566 {I9} (1998Ak04) and r{-0}({+218}Th)=1.529 {I15};
217AC3cA the latter deduced by evaluators assuming 100% |a decay from {+222}U
217AC4cA g.s. to {+218}Th g.s. (2015Kh09) and HF=1

217AC2cA measured the sum peak of {+221}Pa and {+217}Ac |a's at
217AC3cA { 18.73 MeV} and { 18.78 MeV}, respectively. 1989Mi17 could
217AC4cA determine the E{-|a} value of 9.08 MeV {I30} from time-sorted
217AC5cA spectra with 3.44 |ms time interval.
