212TH c DICT$216U A DECAY (0.7 MS)={+216}U |a decay (0.7 ms)
212TH c 2015Ma37: {+216}U activity from {+180}W({+40}Ar,4n) reaction with
212TH2c E({+40}Ar)=189.5 MeV from the Sector-Focusing Cyclotron facility at
212TH3c HIRFL-Lanzhou. Fragments separated with gas-filled recoil separator
212TH4c for heavy ions (SHANS). Measured E|a, |a|a correlations,
212TH5c implant-|a(t) using position-sensitive silicon strip detector
212TH6c surrounded by eight silicon detectors in a box-like arrangement. Six
212TH7c correlated decay chains were observed for the ground state of {+216}U
212TH8c and two correlated decay chains were observed for an isomeric level
212TH9c in {+216}U. Results also presented in 2016Zh33.
212TH cA HF$From r{-0}=1.488 {I35}, deduced by evaluators from g.s. to g.s.
212TH2cA |a decay of {+216}U to {+212}Th
216U P 2240 42 (8+) 0.7 MS +14-3 8531 26
216U cP E$from measured E|a value and assuming that both the observed |a
216U 2cP groups from the {+216}U ground state and from this level feed the
216U 3cP ground state of {+212}Th.
216U cP J$based on known |a transitions in the decays of {+214}Th, {+216}Th
216U 2cP and {+218}U populating an 8+ state of configuration=
216U 3cP |p(h{-9/2}~#f{-7/2}). The deduced energy of 2240 keV is in general
216U 4cP agreement with energies of the 8+ isomers at 2181, 2040, and 2105 keV
216U 5cP in {+216}Th, {+214}Th and {+218}U, respectively (2015Ma37).
216U cP T$from implant-|a(t) (2015Ma37)
212TH N 1.0 AP
212TH cN BR$assumed %|a|?100. Only the |a decay has been observed. Isomeric
212TH2cN decay is observed in the decay of the (8+) isomers in {+214}Th and
212TH3cN {+216}Th
