204PB5c resolution|?4.0 keV at 1.33 MeV due to a slight gain drift; measured

204PB c 1984Dz05: {+204}Po produced by irradiating thorium target with 660-MeV
204PB2c protons, chemically separating Po from Th, and separating by mass;
204PB3c {+204}Bi decay spectra measured 10-20 h after {+204}Po preparation;
204PB4c Ge(Li) detector for measuring |g's, FWHM=0.57 keV at 100 keV and 2.3
204PB5c keV at 1.3 MeV; Si(Li) detector for measuring ce's, FWHM=2.1 to 2.5
204PB6c keV; toroidal |b spectrometer for low-energy electrons; measured E|g,
204PB7c I|g, Ice(K).
204PB c 1972Hn01: {+204}Bi produced via {+206}Pb(p,3n); target enriched to >99%
204PB2c {+206}Pb; decays from {+204}Bi distinguished from {+203}Bi by
204PB3c comparing E(p)=30- and 40-MeV bombarding energies; Ge(Li) x-ray
204PB4c detector with FWHM=500 eV at 100 keV for low-energy |g's; Ge(Li) with

204PB c 1958St99: {+204}Bi produced via {+206}Pb(p,3n); target enriched to 88%
204PB2c {+206}Pb; decays from {+204}Bi distinguished from {+203}Bi by
204PB3c comparing E(p)=30- to 60-MeV bombarding energies; permanent magnet |b
204PB4c spectrometer, double-focusing |b spectrometer with FWHM=0.15 to 0.5%
204PB5c for E(ce), Ice(K) measurements.

204PB c The decay scheme is based mostly on the extensive |g|g-coin results of
204PB2c 1970CrZY and 1977KaXO, as adopted in 1994Sc24, with weak transitions
204PB3c placed on the bases of energy fit and mult consistency. I(|e+|b{++})
204PB4c were calculated from |g+ce intensity balance. Evaluators expect that
204PB5c most of the more intense unplaced |g's feed either the g.s. or the
204PB6c isomeric 66.93-min state because such |g's are not observed in |g|g
204PB8c coincidences. The uncertainties in log| {Ift}'s do not include the
204PB9c errors caused by unplaced or unobserved transitions.
204PB c New levels proposed by evaluators: 1351.17, 1582.54, 1665.41, 1948.23,
204PB2c 2157.98, 2490.99, 2627.30, 2720.0, 2887.2, 4039.0, 4067.87,
204PB3c 4076.16, 4111.23, 4172.19, 4229.57, 4243.77, 4285.89 keV. Some of these
204PB4c levels were observed in (n,n'|g).
204PB c K| x ray/I|g(899)=0.8 {I3}, L| x ray/I|g(899)=0.057 {I19} (1972Hn01).

204PB cE $No |b{++} found, |S(I|b{++})/I(|g+ce)(374)<5|*10{+-4} (1958St99).
204PB cE $According to intensity balances, several low-energy levels with
204PB2cE J|<4 may have |e+|b{++} feeding, but the corresponding log| {Ift}
204PB3cE values are considerably lower than expected for such decays and have
204PB4cE been rejected by the evaluators. This may indicate that not all |g
204PB5cE intensity to these levels has been accounted for.
204PB DE $Specifically, there is supposedly feeding to 1563 4+, 1582 and 1665
204PBxDE 2+, 1948 and 2490 3+, and 2887 2,3.
