193AU C Sources from (P,XN) reactions on gold, EP=70, 80 MEV, isotope
193AU2C separation; measured EG, IG, ECE, ICE, (GELI, SILI
193AU3C (FWHM=1.2-2.5 KEV), mag spect (resolution=0.1%)), EB+,
193AU4C IB+ (mag spect), GG coin.
193AU C Other studies of 193HG decays: 1976Di15, 1976ViZM, 1975Zg01, 1970Fo08,
193AU2C 1970Pl01, 1962Di05, 1958Br88, 1955Br12, 1954Gi04
193AU C 1974ViZS studied 1) freshly prepared HG sources to measure the
193AU2C decay curves of the transitions, and 2) HG sources which had reached
193AU3C transient equilibrium (40 to 100 hours after preparation). In the
193AU4C first case distinction could be made between transitions following
193AU5C the decay of 193HG (3.80 H) and 193HG (11.8 H). In the second case
193AU6C the relative intensities of transitions in both decays could be
193AU7C measured since in the metastable state 193HG (11.8 H) decays to the
193AU8C ground state 193HG (3.80 H) with %IT=7.2, and all transitions now
193AU9C decay with a T1/2=11.8 H.
193AU CE The study of B+ spectrum shows only one major B+ group
193AU2CE with E(B+)=1287 15 (1974ViZS,1976Di15). From the intensity balance
193AU3CE in the level scheme shown (SUMOF TI(to 193AU GS) - TI(193HG ^IT
193AU4CE decay) AP 0) 1974ViZS has deduced that this B+ group does not go
193AU5CE directly to 193AU G.S. From intensity balance in the level scheme
193AU6CE it appears that the group feeds the 224.8 level, resulting in
193AU7CE Q+=2534 15. 2017Wa10 evaluation of atomic masses adopted
193AU8CE Q+=2343 14, corresponding to feeding both the ground and first
193AU9CE excited states, and was adopted in this evaluation.
193AU CE The fact that there is no significant direct EC+B+ decay
193AU2CE from the 3/2- 193HG to the 3/2+ GS and 1/2+ level in 193AU seems
193AU3CE surprising. However, no systematics for these transitions has been
193AU4CE established. In A=189 and A=191 the LOGFT's for these transitions
193AU5CE have not been measured. In A=195 and A=197 JPI(HG)=1/2- and the
193AU6CE LOGFT's for the transitions to the 3/2+ AU GS are ~ 7.3 and GE 8.0.
193AU CE TI From intensity balance in the level scheme.
193AU CG All data are from 1974ViZS, unless otherwise noted. The
193AU2CG transitions listed showed a 3.80 H component in the pre-equilibrium
193AU3CG sources.
193AU CG RI Intensity determined in the 193HG (11.8 H) source in
193AU2CG equilibrium with the 193HG (3.80 H) decay. Intensity per 100
193AU3CG disintegrations of 193HG (11.8 H). Applying the half-life correction
193AU4CG for transient equilibrium, the intensity is per 148 193AU (3.80 H)
193AU5CG decays.
193AU CG M,MR From EKC and/or CE subshell ratios, except where noted.
193AU2CG The photon and CE intensity scales were normalized through
193AU3CG the theoretical KC of 218.07, 219.75, 573.25 and 932.37 transitions
193AU4CG (1974ViZS).
193AU CG RI(A) From the decay scheme of 1974ViZS 2.3% of the
193AU2CG decay from the 258 level follows decay from levels seen in 193HG
193AU3CG (3.80 H) GS, 98% follows decay from 193HG (11.8 H) isomer. From
193AU4CG intensity balance there is no direct EC feeding to this level.
193AU CG RI(B) RI divided on the basis of feeding from high
193AU2CG levels as shown on the level scheme. From intensity balance there is
193AU2CG no direct EC feeding. For the 508.23 level 7% of decay
193AU3CG is from 3.80 H decay, 93% from 11.8 H decay.
193AU CG E(D) G belongs in this decay from composite T. Placed from the
193AU2CG 2043 level by 1974ViZS feeding the 1477 level where the deexciting G
193AU3CG shows no composite T. However, this G is weak and would
193AU4CG contribute only AP 10% or less to the deexciting G. Possible spin
193AU5CG assigments for these levels - make the placement unlikely. The
193AU6CG list as unplaced.
193AU CG E(E) Multiply placed G by 1974ViZS in composite level scheme. G
193AU2CG placed from the 2043 level to a 1004 level in 193HG(3.80 H) decay.
193AU3CG However, the multiply placed 746.11G from the 1004 level is weaker
193AU4CG than the 1040G and is not shown as possessing a composite T.
193AU CG E(F) G shows composite T. Placement here supported by GG results.
193AU2CG 1974ViZS also shows the G from the 2139 level in the 193HG(11.8 H)
193AU3CG decay with no GG support for that placement. The evaluator has
193AU4CG included total RI in this decay.
193AU CG E(G) G is shown as exhibiting composite T in pre-equilibrium
193AU2CG source, but appears to be in coincidence only with G's from
193AU3CG 193HG(11.8 H) decay.
193AU CL The decay scheme is from 1974ViZS and is constructed from
193AU2CL transitions showing a 3.80 H component in the pre-equilibrium
193AU3CL sources of 193HG. For high energy levels fed directly by EC
193AU4CL decay, the entire G intensity is assigned to this decay. For the
193AU5CL medium levels, which are not directly fed by EC+B+ but are fed
193AU6CL by G's from both 193HG decays, the intensity of the deexciting
193AU7CL transitions is divided according to the feeding.
193AU CL E From a least-squares fit to G-ray energies.
193AU CL J,T From Adopted Levels
193AU CL E(A) This level is only fed by the 289.0G from the 827.7 level.
193AU2CL However, since the 827.7 level is seen only in this decay, and the
193AU3CL 539.0 level is seen only in the 193HG (11.8 H) decay it is not clear
193AU4CL to which decay the 289.0G belongs, or whether the placement of the G
193AU5CL is correct.
