189TL c {+189}Pb source was formed in U(p,X) reaction (UC{-x} target) with a
189TL2c beam energy of 1.4 GeV. {+189}Pb was also excited using a laser beam
189TL3c at resonant frequencies from RILIS at the ISOLDE facility at CERN.
189TL c Two experiments were performed:
189TL c 1. Measured |b|g coin using 4|p |b plastic scintillator and three Ge
189TL2c detectors (one planar HPGe and two Ge detectors). The |g rays in
189TL3c {+189}Pb were also identified in hyperfine laser spectroscopy
189TL4c from low-lying levels.
189TL c 2. Measured E|g, I|g, |g|g coin using two HPGe detectors with Be
189TL2c window. The hyperfine laser spectroscopy was also carried out
189TL3c for some of the strong |g rays
189TL c Comparison with rotor plus particle model calculations.
189TL c Decay of the high-spin isomer
189TL cE $ The beta feedings and associated log {Ift} values have been deduced
189TL2cE by the evaluators. The feedings given by 2009Sa09 are given under
189TL3cE comments
189TL cE $ Since this decay has a Q value of over 5 MeV and the only
189TL2cE observed levels are below 2.5 MeV, the scheme is
189TL3cE incomplete. Therefore, the |e+|b{++} intensities are upper limits and
189TL4cE log{Ift} values are lower limits.
189TL cG $ All the unplaced |g rays are arbitrarily assigned to the decay of the
189TL2cG high-spin isomer.
189TL cG E$ General uncertainty is quoted by 2009Sa09 as 0.2 keV for I|g>3
189TL2cG and 0.4 keV for weaker lines. Uncertainty of 1 keV is assigned
189TL3cG by the evaluators when E|g quoted to nearest keV.
189TL cG RI$ General uncertainty is quoted by 2009Sa09 as 15%
189TL cG E(A)$ The |g ray mixed with a line from daughter activity
189TL cG RI(B)$ From hyperfine spectrum in laser spectroscopy. Doublet, one
189TL2cG component from the decay of the high-spin isomer and the other from
189TL3cG the decay of the low-spin isomer of {+189}Pb
189TL cG E(D),RI(D)$ From |g|g coin data
189TL cG CC$From BrIcc code (2008Ki07) with "Frozen Orbitals" approximation
189TL cL $ Expected configurations and bands are from 2009Sa09 based on
189TL2cL axial-rotor coupled to one quasiparticle (Hartree-Fock+BCS)
189TL3cL calculations for oblate and prolate deformations
189TL cL E$ From least-squares fit to E|g data using 281-keV level as fixed.
189TL2cL Uncertainty of 7 keV in this energy is not reflected in the
