163W 3c produced in {+96}Ru({+78}Kr,2pn) E=348 MeV. Measured E|a, I|a,
163W 4c half-life of {+167}Os by |a timing. Also measured decay of an isomer
163W 5c in {+167}Os by |a-tagged |g-rays and ce using JUROGAM array of 43
163W 6c escape suppressed EUROGAM phase-I and GASP type HPGe detectors,
163W 7c RITU separator for recoiling nuclei, and GREAT spectrometer.
163W c 1996Pa01: {+167}Os produced in heavy-ion fusion reactions followed by
163W 2c separation of fragments by a recoil-mass separator. Decay branching
163W 3c determined by detecting time correlated events of recoil nuclei
163W 4c and |a particles in double-sided silicon strip detectors.
163W c 1982De11: see {+163}W |a decay for details
163W c 1982En03: daughter of {+171}Pt from {+144}Sm({+32}S,5n) E=139-201 MeV.
163W 2c Measured |a's and T{-1/2}'s; recoil-mass selector, telescope. Decay
163W 3c branching measured by intensity comparison of parent-daughter |a groups
163W c 1981Ho10: decay branching measured by parent-daughter intensity
163W 2c correlations
163W c 1978Ca11,1977Ca23: 260- to 320-MeV {+63}Cu on {+106,108}Cd and
163W 2c {+107,109}Ag. Measured |a's and |a(t); He-jet, surface barrier
163W 3c detector. Assignment by excitation functions
163W cA HF$ For r{-0}({+163}W)=1.561 {I11} (deduced by the evaluators
163W 2cA from weighted average of 1.563 fm {I11} for {+164}W and 1.556 fm {I16}
163W 3cA for {+162}W (1998Ak04))

167OS cP J$ Proposed in 2010Sc02, based on L=0 |a decays in
167OS2cP {+171}Pt --> {+167}Os --> {+163}W |a decay chain, and persistent
167OS3cP observation of 13/2+ --> 9/2- --> 7/2- cascades in these nuclei
167OS4cP and systematics of lowest-lying 7/2- and 9/2- states in even-Z,
167OS5cP odd-N nuclei in the vicinity. Same J|p proposed in 2009Od02 based
167OS6cP on systematics and comparisons with theoretical predictions.
167OS CP QP$ FROM 2003Au03, 2009AuZZ. |DQ(|a)=50 (2003Au03,2009AuZZ) PRESUMABLY
167OS2CP accounts FOR THE POSSIBILITY THAT THE |a TRANSITION FEEDS AN EXCITED
167OS3CP state RATHER THAN THE {+163}W GS. FROM THE ADOPTED EA VALUE, QA IS
167OS4CP COMPUTED TO BE 5982 3, ASSUMING THE TRANSITION FEEDS THE 163W GS.
167OS CP T$ From |a decay (2010Sc02). Others: 0.84 s 7 (1996Pa01), 0.8 s 2
167OS2CP (1982En03); 1.05 S 35 (1981Ho10); 0.65 S 15 (1977Ca23,1978Ca11)
167OS3CP NOTE: WEIGHTED AVERAGE GIVES the same result with |h{+2}<1
167OS DP T$ Note that half-life of 835 ms 9 in decay curve figure 8 of
167OS2DP 2010Sc02 is a misprint, as communicated in an e-mail reply
167OS3DP from C. Scholey on Feb 4, 2010

163W CN BR$ FROM WEIGHTED AVERAGE OF %|a=51 {I5} (2010Sc02) and 49 {I7}
163W 2CN (1996Pa01). Others: %|a=76 {I10} (1982En03); 58 {I12} (1981Ho10).
163W 3CN NOTE: weighted average of all values gives %|a=54 5 and
163W 4CN UNWEIGHTED AVERAGE GIVES %|a=58 6.

163W CA E WEIGHTED AVERAGE OF: 5853 {I5} (1996Pa01); 5843 {I10}

163W 3CA (1978Ca11). IN COMPUTING THIS AVERAGE, THE EVALUATORS HAVE INCREASED
163W 4CA THE UNCERTAINTY IN THE EA VALUE OF 1982De11 FROM 2 TO 3 SO THAT THE
163W 5CA ASSOCIATED WEIGHT WILL NOT BE MORE THAT HALF THE TOTAL WEIGHT.
163W cA HF$ deduced by the evaluators using ALPHAD code with
163W 2cA r{-0}({+163}W)=1.561 fm {I11}. Other: 1.1 {I1} (2010Sc02, using
163W 3cA Rasmussen formalism). These values are consistent with L=0 g.s. to
163W 4cA g.s. transition
163W CA IA$ IT IS ASSUMED THAT THIS TRANSITION FEEDS THE 163W GS and
163W 2CA that it is the only |a transition. Search for fine structure of
163W 3CA |a decay from {+167}Os proved negative (2010Sc02)
