162SM c 2017Pa25: {+162}Sm produced at RIBF-RIKEN facility
162SM2c using the {+9}Be({+238}U,F) reaction at E=345 MeV/nucleon with an
162SM3c average beam intensity of 10 pnA. The identification of the nuclide of
162SM4c interest was made in the BigRIPS separator by determining the atomic
162SM5c number and the mass-to-charge ratio of the ion using the tof-B|r-|DE
162SM6c method. The reaction products were transported through the ZeroDegree
162SM7c Spectrometer and implanted into the beta-counting system WAS3ABi that
162SM8c was surrounded by the EURICA array comprising of 84 HPGe detectors.
162SM9c Measured implanted ions-|g-|g-t correlations within a 100 |ms time
162SMac window following implantation.
162SM c 2017Yo01: from {+9}Be({+238}U,F), E=345 MeV/nucleon reaction at
162SM2c RIBF-RIKEN facility.
162SM2c {+162}Sm formed by in-flight fission of 345 MeV/nucleon
162SM2c {+238}U beam with a 3.96 to 4.93 mm thick {+9}Be target. Fission
162SM2c fragments separated and identified in the
162SM4c BigRIPS spectrometer by measurement of energy loss |DE,
162SM5c time-of-flight and magnetic rigidity. Two parallel-plate avalanche
162SM6c counters (PPACs) used to track the position of implanted ions.
162SM7c |g rays detected by four Clover HPGe detectors. Measured
162SM8c E|g, I|g, ({+162}Sm ions)|g-coin, delayed |g-radiation, and half-life
162SM9c of isomer, within time window of |?100 ns to 30 |ms.
162SMAc Comparison with theoretical calculations using deformed Hartree-Fock
162SMBc model with angular momentum projection
162SM c 2017Pa25 and 2017Yo01 report similar results
162SM cG E$From 2017Pa25. Values from 2017Yo01 reported with no unc are given
162SM2cG in comments
162SM cG RI$From 2017Yo01 that give relatively well balanced I{-(|g+ce)} at
162SM2cG each level.
162SM2cG As stated by authors the I{-(|g+ce)} value from 2017Pa25 through the
162SM2cG 2+ level of the ground-state band does not balance, presumably due to
162SM3cG the large uncertainty in the efficiency of the array in this energy
162SM4cG region. Relative intensity values from 2017Pa25 are given in comments.
162SM cG M$As assigned by 2017Yo01, based on assigned J|p values, and also
162SM2cG from transition intensity balances for the lowest energy transitions.
162SM2cG Same values can be adopted based on the J|p values from 2017Pa25 as
162SM2cG well.
