159DY D DATA SET UPDATED (NOVEMBER, 2010) BY CW REICH TO INCLUDE NEW QP
159DY2D VALUE, NEW CC VALUES, AND REVISED CONF NOTATION AND COMMENTS.
159DY c {+159}Ho produced by 660-MeV proton spallation of Ta
159DY2c (1966Gr25,1968Ab15,1975GaYZ,1982Vy02), by Dy(p,xn) (1971Bo18,1972Ki21),
159DY3c  and by Tb(|a,4n) (1958To32). Measured |g singles, ce, |b{++}, and |g|g
159DY4c coincidence spectra.
159DY c The decay scheme and all |g and ce data are from 1982Vy02, unless
159DY2c otherwise noted. Others, with many fewer |g's and without
159DY3c uncertainties: 1966Gr25, 1968Ab15, and 1971Bo18.
159DY d Experimental methods:
159DY d 1958To32: From Tb(|a,4n). Measured G and T1/2.
159DY d 1961Ab02: From 660-MeV proton spallation of Ta. Measured ce spectra.
159DY2d Report 6 G's.
159DY d 1964Ma19: From natural Dy(p,xn) and 160DY(p,2n). Measured {+159}Ho
159DY2d T1/2 from decay of 128 G.
159DY d 1965St08: From {+165}Ho(p,7n)|){+159}Er(|e), with chemical separation.
159DY2d Measured G's [NaI(Tl) detector] and ce's. Report 3 G's.
159DY d 1966La11: From {+165}Ho(p,7n)|){+159}Er(|e). Measured G's and ce's.
159DY2d Report T1/2 and approximately 10 G's.
159DY d 1966Gr25: From 660-MeV proton spallation of Ta. Measured G's and
159DY2d ce's spectra. Report 25 G's and 16 multipolarities; 21 G's in a
159DY3d levelscheme with 7 excited levels.
159DY d 1968Ab15: From 660-MeV proton spallation of Ta. Measured G's
159DY2d and ce's. Report 32 G's and 23 multipolarities and 10
159DY3d excited levels.
159DY d 1971Bo18: From natural Dy(p,xn) at 65 MeV. Measured G, ce, and
159DY2d GG coincidence spectra. Report 67 G's and 37
159DY3d multipolarities and 13 excited levels.
159DY d 1972Ki21: From natural Dy(p,xn) with mass separation. Report T1/2
159DY2d of a level with an energy GE 177 and < 309.
159DY d 1975GaYZ: From 660-MeV proton spallation of Ta. Measured B+
159DY2d spectrum and decomposed it into 3 components.
159DY d 1975Gr44: Summarizes data from the Dubna laboratory, especially,
159DY2d Q(B+), three T1/2 and a LOGFT value.
159DY d 1975VaYX: Report 3 level half-lives.
159DY d 1976Kr21: Summarized |d(E2/M1) values.
159DY d 1976KrZG: Reports methology of B+ spectral analysis and gives three
159DY2d components of the B+ spectrum.
159DY d 1982Vy02: From 660-MeV proton spallation of Ta with chemical and mass
159DY2d separation. Measured B+, G, and ce spectra. Report 108 G's and
159DY3d 64 multipolarities and 16 excited levels.
159DY cE E$The measured values are given in comments.
159DY cE IB,IE$The I(|b{++})+I(|e) are from |g-intensity balances at the various
159DY2cE levels, and the I(|b{++}) and I(|e) are then computed from the
159DY3cE theoretical capture to positron ratios. The uncertainties do not
159DY4cE include any contribution from the incompleteness of the decay scheme as
159DY5cE indicated by the many unplaced |g rays. The measured I(|b{++}) values
159DY6cE are given in comments for comparison, and are in good agreement.
159DY cG E$Several uncertainties were increased due to inconsistencies among the
159DY2cG energies.
159DY cG RI$The measured K x-ray intensities (energies) are 110 {I4} (K|a{-2}| x
159DY2cG ray 45.207~keV), 197 {I5} (K|a{-1}| x ray 45.998), 66 {I3} (K|b{-1} x
159DY3cG ray 52.1), and 17.2 {I8} (K|b{-2} x ray 53.5).
159DY cG RI$The measured annihilation radiation intensity is 0.053 {I5}. This
159DY2cG value is unreasonably low if the |b{++} were stopped at the source,
159DY3cG since it implies a total I(|b{++})|?0.11% compared with the measured
159DY4cG total of 0.251% {I7} (1982Vy02) and > 0.20% (1975GaYZ). So, it is
159DY5cG reasonable to conclude that |b{++} were not stopped in the source.
159DY cG M,MR$From {+159}Dy Adopted |g radiations, but based on measured data
159DY2cG from this decay (1982Vy02). Others: 1966Gr25, 1968Ab15, and 1971Bo18.

159DY cL J$From {+159}Dy Adopted Levels.

159DY3cL uncertainties. Values are from {+159}Ho |e decay only; see the {+159}Dy
