157GD4c       {+238}U; and the spontaneous fission of {+252}Cf. Chemical and
157GD5c       isotope separation have been used.
157GD c            Measurements include |g singles and |g|g coincidences with
157GD2c       NaI and Ge detectors, ce with magnetic spectrometers, |b- spectra
157GD3c       with plastic and anthracene detectors, and |g|b- coincidences.

157GD cB           The |b- spectrum has been studied (1964Sh21, 1966Da06, and
157GD2cB      1966Fu05) to determine the energies and intensities. The data
157GD3cB      from the singles spectrum lacks uniqueness due to high density
157GD4cB      of possible final states. In particular, the highest energy
157GD5cB      component [E{-|b-}=1350 {I30} (1964Sh21), 1340 {I100}
157GD6cB      (1966Da06), and 1300 {I20} (1966Fu05)] may be a combination of
157GD7cB      branches feeding levels at 0, 54, 63, and even 115 keV. The most
157GD8cB      detailed set of measured values are the coincidence results of
157GD9cB      1964Sh21.  These data yield a Q value of |? 1340 {I30} compared
157GDAcB      with the mass-adjustment value of 1365 {I4} (2012Wa38). The |b-
157GDBcB      intensities are even less unique, but 1966Da06 and 1966Fu05
157GDCcB      agree that there are major groups with energies of |? 1340 and
157GDDcB      |? 910 keV with an intensity ratio 0.89 (1966Da06) or 1.15
157GDEcB      (1966Fu05).
157GD cB E         The values given are those calculated from the
157GD2cB      Q value. Measured values are provided in the comments.
157GD cB IB        Values are from |g intensity balances and assume no |b-
157GD2cB      feeding of the ground state. Beta branches similar to this
157GD3cB      ground-state transition [i.e., 5/2[413] to
157GD4cB      3/2[521]] have log {Ift} values of 7.8-8.7. In this {+157}Eu
157GD5cB      |b- decay, this range corresponds to I{-|b-}(0)=1-10%. The
157GD6cB      measured values of 1966Da06 and 1966Fu05 for two major |b-
157GD7cB      groups are given in comments and they agree well with the
157GD8cB      deduced values.
157GD cB IB        Values of <1% are omitted since the lack of completeness
157GD2cB      of the decay scheme makes them unreliable. The sum of the I|b-
157GD3cB      values given is 101% {I9}, and the sum of all the positive,
157GD4cB      computed values is 105% {I9}.
157GD cG           The data are from 1986GrZS (private communication), unless
157GD2cG      otherwise noted, including E{-|g}, I{-|g}, and coincidences in
157GD3cG      drawing. Less extensive sets of values are given by 1966Fu05
157GD4cG      and 1966Da06 which include ce data. Others: 1964Sh12, 1965CaZZ,
157GD5cG      and 1969Gr32.
