139BA4c The placement of 1539.09|g deexciting the 1539 level was removed. 3. A
139BA5c level at 2606 was added. 1980Le03 apparently assumed that the 1539
139BA6c level observed by 1973Ad04 differed from the 1539, L=5 level observed
139BA7c in (d,p). 1981Pe04 assumed that the levels were the same, which seems
139BA8c to be confirmed by {+136}Xe(|a,n|g) work of 1987Pr06. 1981Pe04
139BA9c introduced a second level at 2606 apparently on the basis of the
139BAac existence of the 1067|g feeding the 1539 level; however, since this |g
139BAbc was not placed on the basis of |g|g-coincidences, evaluators have not
139BAcc adopted the second 2606 level.
139BA c 1997Gr09 (also 1994He33, 1992Gr18) measured summed |g-ray spectrum
139BA2c (TAGS, total absorption |g-ray spectrometer; NaI(Tl) well) and
139BA3c |b|g-coincidences (Si-NaI(Tl) well). The spectra were analyzed based on
139BA4c the response functions for monoenergetic neutrons and electrons
139BA5c computed with a Monte Carlo code. The |b-feeding distributions as a
139BA6c function of the excitation energy of the state were deduced. Analysis
139BA7c of the {+139}Cs |b{+-} spectra was based on {+139}Cs |b{+-} decay
139BA8c scheme in 1989Bu12 evaluation and I|b{+-}(g.s.)=85.0% {I34} (1992Gr21,
139BA9c 1997Gr09). The decay scheme in 1989Bu12 was modified by the adjustment
139BAAc of I|b{+-}'s, the addition of a state at 3200 keV, and the lowering of
139BABc the 1283 state to 1273; this resulted in excellent agreement between
139BACc the measured and simulated spectra. The agreement of I|b values between
139BADc the simulation and 1989Bu12 Nuclear Data Sheets evaluation is also
139BAEc good, particularly below 2600 keV.
