138CE c 1974Bu03: Source of {+138}Pr was prepared at JINR. Ions were separated
138CE2c and selected with an electromagnetic separator and implanted into
138CE3c aluminum foil. |g rays were detected with Ge(Li) detectors (FWHM=0.7
138CE4c keV at E|g=40 keV, 2.3 and 2.9 keV at E|g=1 MeV); conversion electrons
138CE5c were detected with a |b-ray spectrometer incorporating Si(Li)
138CE6c detectors (FWHM=2.5-3.0 keV at K788.7 line of {+138}Pr). Measured E|g,
138CE7c I|g, E(ce), I(ce), |b|g-coin. Deduced levels, J, |p, |g and |b
138CE8c branching ratios, conversion coefficients, |g-ray multipolarities. See
138CE9c also 1971Af05 from the same group.
138CE c 1972Lu01: Source of {+138}Pr was produced by bombarding natural
138CE2c lantanium oxide with E=35 MeV {+3}He ions. |g rays were detected
138CE3c with Ge(Li) detectors (FWHM=2.4-3.0 keV at E|g=1.33 MeV). Measured
138CE4c E|g, I|g, |g|g-coin, |g|g(t). Deduced levels.
138CE c 1971Ju01: Source of {+138}Pr was prepared by the (p,n) reaction on
138CE2c enriched {+138}Ce target in the form of cerium oxide or cerium
138CE3c chloride, bombarded with E=10 MeV protons. |g rays were detected with
138CE4c a Ge(Li) detector (FWHM=5 keV at E|g=1 MeV). Measured E|g, I|g.
138CE5c Deduced levels.
138CE c 1970Ho28: {+138}Pr source was prepared by (p,p3n) reaction with
138CE2c 99.999% pure praseodymium dioxide target bombarded with 48-MeV protons
138CE3c from the McGill University Synchrocyclotron. |g rays were detected
138CE4c with a Ge(Li) detector. Measured E|g, I|g. Deduced levels.
138CE c Others: 1964Fu08, 1965Gr38, 1965Ba45, 1967Ba66, 1968Na04
138CE c The total average radiation energy released by {+138}Pr |e decay
138CE2c is 4885 keV {I155} (calculated by evaluator using the computer program
138CE3c RADLST). This value agrees well with Q(|e)=4437 keV {I10}
138CE4c (2017Wa10) plus parent E(level)=364 {I23} and shows the completeness of
138CE5c the decay scheme.
138CE c Decay scheme is that of 1974Bu03. Additional levels
138CE2c at 4026, 4145, and tentative levels at 1729, 1985 or 2058, 2011 or
138CE3c 2033, 2318, 3501 and 4107 proposed by 1972Lu01, levels at 2483, 2372,
138CE4c proposed by 1967Ba66, have not been confirmed by 1974Bu03.
138CE cE $No (|b{++})(303|g,789|g,1038|g) (1965Ba45,1964Fu08).
