116PD C  By taking advantage of higher production yields and more efficiency,
116PD2C  detectors, 2001WA04, same group as 1988AY02 have remeasured the
116PD3C   decay of 116RH
116PD C  Activity: 238U(P,F) EP=20 MEV, mass separator IGISOL
116PD C  After each cycle, the acquisition system was blocked while
116PD2C  the tape moved forward about 20 cm in 0.3 s. In the detection
116PD3C  setup, a 2 mm thick ^BC408 cylindrical plastic scintillator
116PD4C  was used for detection of |b particles with the total efficiency
116PD5C  of about 60%. Four large volume Eurogam phase-I
116PD6C  Ge detectors with relative efficiency of 70% in each,
116PD7C  were used to detect |g rays.
116PD C  Measured: G, GG, BCE, T1/2, GE(LI), SI(LI)
116PD C  Conversion electron measurements support the E2 character for
116PD2C  340G, 538G. No evidence for strong E0 transition (1988AY02)
116PD C  Authors have assign the intensities of the gammas by assuming that the
116PD2C  1+ decay directly populates only states with I<2. This argument
116PD3C  is supported by the intensity balance for the 1066.2-keV 3+
116PD4C  level indicating no direct |b feeding. Accordingly,
116PD5C  only the 340.3-keV 2+ and 737.9 2+ levels are populated in
116PD6C  both |b decays. The intensities of 340.3, 397.7, and 737.8-keV
116PD7C  |g transitions are then separated, as the |b feedings must
116PD8C  be negligible to the 340.3 and 737.9-keV levels in the decay
116PD9C  of high-spin isomer.
