Produced by fission of U projectiles on a 1 g/cm Be target, using 10×107 particles/s beam at 750 MeV/nucleon. Fragments were identified by atomic number and mass-to-charge ratio deduced from the measured energy loss, time of flight, and magnetic rigidity using the FRS fragment separator at GSI. In the experiment (reported in 1995CzZZ, 1997Be12, and 1997Be70) 583 counts were assigned to 87Ge (1997Be70).
1997Be70: Be(238U,F) E=750 MeV/u; measured σ; FRS at GSI.
Q-value: The uncertainties associated with the systematic Q values Q(β-) 400, S(n) 500, S(p) 800, and Q(α) 600 keV.
