  A  41S β- decay (1.99 S)  B  160Gd(37Cl,xγ)
  C  176Yb(36S,xγ)  D  208Pb(40Ar,xγ)

General Comments:

2006Wi10: β-n decay of 42S to 41Cl, no definite evidence exists from measurements. An upper limit was set for %β-n<1 from intensity of a 167γ. Other: %β-n<4 (1995So03)

1981HuZT: T1/2 via β decay of 41Cl produced by bombarding 600 MeV protons on uranium that was measured with a precise quartz crystal oscillator

1974Gu10: T1/2 via β decay of 41Cl produced in the three nucleon transfer reaction 181Ta(40Ar, 41Cl).

1971Ar32: 41Cl first identified in 232Th(40Ar,X) reaction at E=290 MeV. Identified using magnetic analysis and the ΔE-E technique with two Si detectors

Q-value: S(2n)=3251 syst 780; Q(β-n)=-340 70 (2012Wa38)

E(level): From least-squares fits to Eγ’s for levels populated in the multiple transfer reaction 208Pb(40Ar,Xγ)

Jπ(level): Except as noted, assignments are based on yrast population arguments in the deep inelastic scattering reaction 176Yb(36S,Xγ) (2003Ol03, 2004Ol05) and multiple nucleon transfer reaction 208Pb(40Ar,Xγ) (2013Sz02) both of which have been compared with shell model calculations. Negative parity states are from comparison with states in 39Cl from 208Pb(40Ar,Xγ) (2013Sz02)
