Activity produced by 197Au(40Ar,3n) E=188.4 MeV. 234Bk was identified using a gas-filled recoil separator, and by genetic correlations with daughter nuclides from the α-decay chain. Measured Eα=7850 keV 50. The data suggested the possible existence of an isomer in 234Bk (2003MoZX, 2003MoZT).
