223Pa activity was produced by 205Tl(22Ne,4n), 208Pb(19F,4n), and 209Bi(20Ne,α2n). Assignment to 223Pa is based on excitation functions, genetic relationship to daughter nuclei, and production of the activity by several reactions (1970Bo13).
223Pa activity was produced by 208Pb(19F,4n), E=99 MeV. Recoiling ions of 223Pa were separated using the magnetic recoil separator "RITU " (1999Ho28).
