General Comments:

Assignment: 170Yb(3He,7N), E(3He)=80 MeV chem, γ(166Yb) (1974De09); 181Ta(p,2p14n), E(p)=660 MeV, chem, γ(166Er) (1969Ar23).

Other Reaction

130Te(40Ca,4nγ), E=167.5-182.5 MeV: Te on Gd target, backed by Au; transient field technique used to determine g-factor at 5 beam energies for pre-yrast high-spin states in 166Hf (1996We01). Individual values of 0.23 3, 0.21 4, 0.16 2, 0.21 3 and 0.22 3, each with an additional systematic uncertainty of 0.02 lead to an average g-factor=+0.19 4 (2005St24).
