General Comments:

Data on excited states are from the 160Gd(t,p) reaction (1986Lo15) and the γ rays following 252Cf spontaneous fission (2004Jo17,1997Do20). The g.s. half-life is from the 162Gd β- decay (1982Ge07,1970Ch02).

Model calculations that may be of interest include moments, deformation, and radius: 1996La03, 1996Ba16, 1990Na14; B(E2): 1995Zu02; and B(M1): 1995De22, 1990Su09.

Jπ(level): Assignments are those given in 1986Lo15 from the 160Gd(t,p) reaction and 2004Jo17 from the 252Cf SF Decay. The L=0 angular distributions uniquely define the Jπ=0+ levels seen in (t,p), while the assignments from the SF Decay are based largely on the structure expected for the gs band in a strongly deformed nucleus in this mass region.
