Lifetime measurements in 96Rb via fast-timing techniques: Investigating shape coexistence at A ∼ 100
NUCLEAR REACTIONS 235U(n, F)96Rb, E=thermal; measured Eγ, Iγ, γγ-coin. 96Rb; deduced T1/2 for (3-), (4-), and (6-) intraband states, B(E2), B(M1), quadrupole deformation parameter. Lifetimes measured with generalized centroid difference (GCD) method and convolution method. Comparison to the data for 98Y. Confirmed shape coexistence in 96Rb. Setup consisting of 1 HPGe clover detector and 4 LaBr3:Ce fast scintillators at LOHENGRIN spectrometer (ILL).
