Isomer Depletion of 93mMo Triggered by Inelastic Nuclear Scattering Rather than Nuclear Excitation by Electron Capture
RADIOACTIVITY 93Mo(IT) [from 4He(94Zr, X)93Mo, E=16.7 MeV/nucleon]; measured decay products, Eγ, Iγ, TOF. 94Zr; deduced γ-ray spectra, isomer depletion probability arises from inelastic nuclear scattering rather than the previously proposed nuclear excitation by electron capture (NEEC) mechanism. Comparison with calculations, available data. The radioactive ion beam line (RIBLL) at the Heavy Ion Research Facility in Lanzhou.
