Structure of unbound neutron-rich ⁹He studied using single-neutron transfer

NUCLEAR REACTIONS ²H(⁸He, p), E=15 MeV/nucleon, [secondary ⁸He beam from C(¹³C, X), E=75 MeV/nucleon primary reaction]; ²H(¹⁶O, p), E=15 MeV/nucleon; measured proton spectra, kinetic energies and angles of recoiling protons, σ(θ) using MUST2 telescopes of Si-CsI detectors at GANIL facility. ⁹He, ¹⁷O; deduced levels from experimental missing mass spectra, J, π, widths, l-transfers, configurations, spectroscopic factors, parity inversion in ⁹He. DWBA and CCBA analyses of σ(θ) data. Reviewed previous measurements of level structure of ⁹He using different reactions. ¹⁶O(d, p) reaction in inverse kinematics used as a test case.
