Experimental study of the Γ_p1/Γ_p0 ratios of resonance states in ⁸Be or deducing the ⁷Be(n, p₁)⁷Li^* reaction rate relevant to the cosmological lithium problem

NUCLEAR REACTIONS ⁹Be(³He, α)⁸Be^*, E=30 MeV; measured Eα, Iα, angular distributions by ΔE-E and magnetic rigidity of α particles using high-resolution spectrometer ENMA at the Tandem accelerator facility of JAEA-Tokai. ⁸Be; deduced levels, J, π, Γ, Γ_p1/Γ_p0 using Breit-Wigner formalism, double-differential σ(θ) of decay of excited stated of ⁸Be by proton decay to ⁷Li g.s. and excited states. ⁷Be(n, p)⁷Li^*, T₉=0.01-2; calculated reaction rates. Relevance to ⁷Be destruction in the big bang nucleosynthesis.
