New low-energy 0⁺ state and shape coexistence in ⁷⁰Ni

RADIOACTIVITY ^70,70mCo(β^-)[from ⁹Be(⁷⁶Ge, X), E=130 MeV/nucleon using A1900 fragment separator at NSCL-MSU]; measured Eγ, Iγ, βγγ-, γγ-coin, level half-life by βγ(t) using SeGA array and silicon PIN detectors. ⁷⁰Ni; deduced levels, J, π, energy and half-life of excited (0+) state, configuration. Comparison with Monte Carlo shell-model calculations with A3DA interaction. ⁶⁸Co, ⁶⁹Ni, ⁷⁰Zn; observed γ rays from decay of contaminants.
