Investigation of the 244Pu(48Ca, xn)292-xFl reaction with the LBNL SHREC detector: Investigation of decay chains of isotopes of flerovium (Z=114)

RADIOACTIVITY 288Fl, 284Cn(α), 289Fl, 285Cn, 281Ds, 277Hs(α), 287Fl, 283Cn, 279Ds(α) [from 244Pu(48Ca, X), E=256 MeV]; measured decay products, Eα, Iα; deduced σ for the 4n and 3n exit channels, seven decay chains starting with an evaporation residue, followed by a single α decay and a spontaneous fission, another decay chain for 5n exit channel, α-decay energies. Comparison with available data. The Berkeley Gas-filled Separator (BGS), the newly installed Superheavy Recoil detector, the Versatile ECR for Nuclear Science (VENUS) ion source at the 88-Inch Cyclotron at LBNL.
