25Si β+-decay spectroscopy
RADIOACTIVITY 25Si(β+), (EC), (β+p)[from 9Be(36Ar, X), E=150 MeV/nucleon from the K500 and K1200 Coupled Cyclotron Facility at NSCL-MSU, followed by purification of 25Si beam by A1900 fragment separator]; measured Eγ, Iγ, γγ- and pγ-coin, E(p), I(p), half-life of 25Si decay using the Gaseous Detector with Germanium Tagging (GADGET) system of a proton detector and the SeGA array. 24Mg, 25Al; deduced levels, J, π, %Iβ+ feedings, %Iβp, γ branching ratios, logft, B(GT), Γγ/Γp and half-life for the 2673-keV level in 25Al, Γγ and Γγ/Γp for T=3/2 IAS in 25Al at 7902 keV. Comparison with shell-model calculations of levels, Jπ, β feedings, logft and B(GT) using USDC and USDI Hamiltonians, and with the experimental and theoretical decay characteristics of 25Na β- decay to 25Mg. Comparison with earlier experimental results.
