Decay studies of the long-lived states in 186Tl

RADIOACTIVITY 186Tl(α), 186mTl(IT), (β+)[pure beam of 186Tl from U(p, X), E=1.4 GeV spallation reaction and selective ionization using RILIS at ISOLDE-CERN facility]; measured Eα, Iα, Eγ, Iγ, ce, Eβ, αγ-, αγγ- and α(x ray)-coin, half-lives of decays of 186Tl (2-) ground state and 10(-) isomer using the SPEDE spectrometer for α detection, and five HPGe clover detectors for γ rays. 182Au; deduced levels, J, π. 186Tl; deduced levels, J, π, total conversion coefficients and multipolarities, (2-) as the ground state, energies of the (7+) and 10(-) isomers, upper limit of %IT decay and lower limit of %β+ branching ratios from the decay of the 10(-) isomer of 186Tl. 190Bi; deduced energy of the (10-) isomer. 188m,190mBi(α); analyzed previous experimental data for the decays of (10-) isomers; deduced decay widths using Rasmussen formalism. Systematics of retardation factors for M2 and E3 transitions in 184,186,188Tl.
