Exploring the compactness of α clusters in 16O nuclei with relativistic 16O+16O collisions
NUCLEAR REACTIONS 16O(16O, X), √ sNN = 6.5 TeV; calculated sensitivity to compactness of the α-clusters in light nuclei of following collision observables - mean transverse momenta, two-particle correlator, elliptic flow, triangular flow, Pearson correlation coefficients. Simulations with iEBE-VISHNU event-by-event hybrid model that combines the TRENTo model generating the initial stage, the VISH2+1 describing the collective expansion of the QGP, and the UrQMD simulating the evolution of the hadron cascade in the hadronic rescattering process.
NUCLEAR STRUCTURE 16O; calculated two-dimensional density distributions of tetrahedral configurations (4 α-clusters).
