Search for the missing d-wave neutron excitation states in 13B

NUCLEAR REACTIONS 2H(13B, 13B), E=23 MeV/nucleon; measured reaction products, charged particles, deuteron spectrum, angular distribution; deduced inelastic σ(θ). 13B; deduced levels, J, π, effective single particle energies. Missing mass method with analysis performed using distorted wave Born approximation (DWBA) and shell model calculations. Analysis of experimentally obtained gap between s and d shells B isotopes - 12B, 13B, 14B. Secondary beam of 13B produced in 9Be(18O, X), E=0 MeV/nucleon.
