Radiative Width of the Hoyle State from γ-Ray Spectroscopy

NUCLEAR REACTIONS 12C(p, p'), E=10.7 MeV; measured reaction products, Eγ, Iγ, γ-γ-p coin.; deduced γ-ray energies, resonances, radiative branching ratio, radiative widths. Comparison with available data.

Radiative decay branching ratio of the Hoyle state

NUCLEAR REACTIONS 12C(α, α'), E=40 MeV; measured reaction products, recoiled 12C ions, Eα, Iα; deduced radiative branching ratio of the Hoyle state. Comparison to previous experimental data. Comparison suggests to exclude the contradictory results of proton-γ-γ measurements published in 2020KI17.
