Evolution of collectivity in 118Xe
NUCLEAR REACTIONS 102Pd(19F, 2np)118Xe, E=73 MeV; measured Eγ, Iγ, γγ-coin, level half-lives by recoil-distance Doppler-shift (RDDS) and differential decay-curve method (DDCM) using an array of 11 HPGe detectors and Cologne Coincidence Plunger at the Cologne FN-tandem accelerator. 118Xe; deduced levels, J, π, B(E2). Comparison with theoretical calculations using IBM1 with the ECQF Hamiltonian, and with previous experimental results. Systematics of B(E2) values for the first 2+ and 4+ states for 104,106,108,110,112,114,116,118,120,122,124,126,128,130,132Sn, 108,110,112,114,116,118,120,122,124,126,128,130,132,134Te, 114,116,118,120,122,124,126,128,130,132,134,136Xe.
