NUCLEAR REACTIONS 107Ag(78Kr, pα)180Hg, (78Kr, npα)179Hg, (78Kr, np)183Pb, (78Kr, 2np)182Pb, E=338, 342 MeV; measured evaporation residues (ER), Eα, Iα, (ER)α-coin; deduced evaporation residues σ(E). Gas-filled recoil separator SHANS (Spectrometer for Heavy Atoms and Nuclear Structure) combined with 2 multiwire proportional counters (MWPCs) and double-sided silicon strip detector (DSSD) used for implantation at Sector-Focusing Cyclotron (SFC) of the Heavy Ion Research Facility in Lanzhou (HIRFL).
RADIOACTIVITY 180Hg(α)[from 107Ag(78Kr, pα), E=338, 342 MeV];182Hg(α)[from 107Ag(78Kr, 3p), E=338, 342 MeV];179Hg(α)[from 107Ag(78Kr, npα), E=338, 342 MeV];178Hg(α)[from 182Pb(α)];183Pb(α)[from 107Ag(78Kr, np), E=338, 342 MeV];182Pb(α)[from 107Ag(78Kr, 2np), E=338, 342 MeV];178Pt[from 182Hg(α)];176Pt[from 180Hg(α)];175Pt[from 179Hg(α)]; measured Eα, Iα; deduced T1/2. 182,183Bi(α); deduced lower limit for T1/2 based on the fact that no clear signatures of these isotopes decay were detected in this experiment.
