α-decay branching ratio of 180Pt

RADIOACTIVITY 180Pt(α)[from 180Hg to 180Au to 180Pt EC decay chain, 180Hg from Pb(p, X), E=1.4 GeV at ISOLDE-CERN, followed by a three-step, resonance laser ionization]; measured Eα, Iα; deduced α branching ratio, reduced α width for g.s. to g.s. transition. Comparison with earlier experimental results. 180Hg, 180Au, 176Pt, 172Os(α); measured Eα in the decay chains starting from 180Hg. Systematics of reduced α-decay widths for g.s. to g.s. α transitions in N(even)=88-112 Pt, N(even)=90-108 Hg and N(even)=96-112 Pb isotopes.
