Shower of γ rays in the decay of the 49/2+ isomeric state in 147Gd
NUCLEAR REACTIONS 76Ge(76Ge, 5n)147mGd, E=290 MeV; measured Eγ, Iγ, and γγ-coin from the decay of the 510-ns isomer in 147Gd using the GASP array for γ detection at Legnaro National Laboratory. 147Gd; deduced high-spin levels, J, π, total conversion coefficients from transition intensity balances, multipolarities, γ-branching ratios, B(E1), B(E2), B(E3), B(M2), reduced transition rates of M1 and E1 transitions, and statistical features of the decay of the isomer.
