Investigating neutron-proton pairing in sd-shell nuclei via (p, ³He) and (³He, p) transfer reactions

NUCLEAR REACTIONS ²⁴Mg, ³²S(³He, p), E=25 MeV; ²⁸Si, ⁴⁰Ca, ²⁴Mg(p, ³He), E=65 MeV; measured proton and ³He spectra, angular distributions, cross sections using Grand Raiden spectrometer at RCNP-Osaka. ²⁶Al, ³⁸K, ²²Na, ³⁴Cl; deduced levels, J, π, experimental ratios between the transfer cross sections to the 0+ and the 1+ states in the final nuclei; analyzed np pairing phenomena. DWBA calculations taking into account shell model calculations with the USDB interaction.
