Experimental study of isomeric intruder 1/2⁺ states in ^{197, 203}At

NUCLEAR REACTIONS ¹⁵⁹Tb(⁴⁸Ca, 4n)²⁰³At, E=198 MeV; ¹⁶⁵Ho(³⁶Ar, 4n), E=173 MeV; measured Eγ, Iγ, γγ-coin, (recoil)(electron)γ(t), γ(θ), E(x ray), I(x ray), Eα, Iα, ce, half-life of 1/2+ isomer in ²⁰³At, recoil-decay and recoil-isomer decay tagging methods using RITU separator, GREAT spectrometer and JUROGAM II array at the K-130 cyclotron facility of Jyvaskyla. ^197,203At; deduced levels, J, π, 1/2+ states, conversion coefficients, multipolarities, configurations. Systematics of moment of inertia plots, and energies of 1/2+ to 15/2+ states in ^{195,197,199,201,203}At, ¹⁹⁸Rn, ¹⁹⁶Po, ^191,193Bi isotopes.

RADIOACTIVITY ¹⁹³Bi, ^{196,197,197m,198,202}Po, ^{196,197,197m,198,202,203,204}At(α)[from ¹⁵⁹Tb(⁴⁸Ca, 4n)²⁰³At, E=198 MeV and ¹⁶⁵Ho(³⁶Ar, 4n), E=173 MeV reactions]; observed α-spectra.
