One-neutron pickup into ⁴⁹Ca: Bound neutron g_9/2 spectroscopic strength at N=29

NUCLEAR REACTIONS ¹²C(⁴⁸Ca, ⁴⁹Ca), E=140 MeV/nucleon; measured Eγ, Iγ, (⁴⁹Ca)γ-coin, γ(θ), neutron-pickup single-particle cross sections using A1900 fragment separator and GRETINA array at NSCL-MSU. Heavy-ion-induced neutron-pickup reaction. DWBA analysis. ⁴⁹Ca; deduced levels, J, π, multipolarity, spectroscopic factors. Comparison with full sd+pf+sdg valence-space shell-model calculations.
