High-spin states in 136La and possible structure change in the N=79 region

NUCLEAR REACTIONS 124Sn(17N, 5n), E=5.2 MeV/nucleon, [17N secondary beam from 9Be(18O, 17N), E=9.3 MeV/nucleon primary reaction]; measured Eγ, Iγ, γγ-coin, isomer half-life by γ(t) at RCNP-Osaka facility. 136La; deduced high-spin levels, J, π, isomer, bands, configuration, B(M1), B(E2). Comparison with pair-truncated shell model (PTSM) calculations, and cranked Nilsson-Strutinsky (CNS) model. Systematics of band structures in 130,132,134,136La and N=79 isotones 134Cs, 136La, 138Pr, 140Pm.
