Probing collectivity in Zn isotopes with one particle or hole outside the N=40 subshell closure

NUCLEAR REACTIONS 70Zn(238U, X)69Zn/71Zn, E=6.76 MeV/nucleon; measured Eγ, Iγ, level-half-lives by recoil distance Doppler-shift method using VAMOS spectrometer, EXOGAM array, and a differential plunger device at GANIL. 69,71Zn; deduced levels, J, π, B(M1), B(E2). Comparison with shell-model calculations with the JUN45 interaction. Coexistence of single-particle and collective states.
