Recoil-β tagging study of the N=Z nucleus ⁶⁶As

NUCLEAR REACTIONS ⁴⁰Ca(²⁸Si, np), E=75, 83 MeV; measured reaction products, Eγ, Iγ, γ(θ), γγ(θ)(ADO ratios), βγ-, (recoil)βγ-, γγ-coin, isomer half-lives by γγ(t) using RITU separator, GREAT spectrometer and JUROGAM II array at Jyvaskyla facility. Recoil-beta tagging (RBT) and recoil-isomer tagging methods. ⁶⁶As; deduced high-spin levels, isomers, J, π, T=1 band, T=0 states, conversion coefficients, multipolarity, configuration, B(E2), B(M1), oblate 3+ shape isomer. ⁶⁴Zn, ⁶⁵Ga, ⁶⁶Ge; observed γ rays from low-lying states. Systematics of Coulomb energy differences (CEDs) for A=66, 70, 74, and 78 systems. Comparison with shell-model calculations.
