Structure investigation with the (p, t) reaction on ^{132, 134}Ba nuclei

NUCLEAR REACTIONS ^134,136Ba(p, t), E=25 MeV; measured E(t), I(t), σ(θ) using Q3D magnetic spectrometer. ^132,134Ba; deduced levels, J, π, relative 2-n transfer intensities, transition probabilities. Comparison with distorted-wave Born approximation (DWBA) calculations. Discussed validity of U(5) and U(6) symmetries of the IBA model.
