Population of positive-parity states in ⁵³Sc through one-proton knockout

NUCLEAR REACTIONS ⁹Be(⁵⁴Ti, ⁵³Sc), E=72 MeV/nucleon; measured Eγ, Iγ, (particle)γ-coin using SeGA array, σ, and parallel momentum distributions in one-proton knockout reaction. ⁵³Sc; deduced levels, J, π and configurations. Comparison with shell model calculations.
