Enhanced strength of the 2+1 → 0+g.s. transition in 114Sn studied via Coulomb excitation in inverse kinematics

NUCLEAR REACTIONS 58Ni(114Sn, 114Sn'), (116Sn, 116Sn'), E=3.4 MeV/nucleon; measured Eγ, Iγ. 114,116Sn; deduced B(E2). Comparison with large-scale shell model calculations and B(E2) for even-even Tin isotopes. Coulomb excitation.
