Consequences of Neutron-Proton Pairing Correlations for the Rotational Motion of the N = Z Nucleus ⁷²Kr

NUCLEAR REACTIONS ⁴⁰Ca(³⁶Ar, 2n2p), E=145 MeV; measured Eγ, Iγ, γγ-, (charged particle)γ-, (neutron)γ-coin. ⁷²Kr deduced high-spin levels, J, π, configurations, possible neutron-proton pairing effects. Gammasphere, Microball arrays. Cranked mean-field calculations.
