NUCLEAR REACTIONS 116Sn(58Ni, 2np), E=260, 267 MeV; measured Eγ, Iγ, (recoil)γ-, γγ-coin. 171Ir deduced high-spin levels, J, π, rotational band structure, configurations, triaxiality, shaped-coexistance, band mixing. Cranked mean-field calculations, potential energy surfaces, tilted-axis cranking.
