N=8 Shell Breaking in 12Be from a Single-Particle Perspective
NUCLEAR REACTIONS 2H(11Be, p), E=9.78 MeV/nucleon; measured reaction products, Ep, Ip; deduced excitation 12Be energy spectrum, J, π, σ(θ), resonance parameters, spectroscopic factors, the possible halolike nature of the 0+2 isomer. Comparison with the results of shell-model calculations using the YSOX interaction. The HIE-ISOLDE Linac beam facility at CERN utilizing the ISOLDE Solenoidal Spectrometer (ISS).
