Total absorption spectroscopy for the β+ decay strength distribution of 60Ga

RADIOACTIVITY 60Ga(β+) [from 9Be(78Kr, X)60Ga, E=150 MeV/nucleon]; measured decay products, Eγ, Iγ; deduced γ-ray energies, T1/2, β-branching ratios, β-decay strength distribution. Comparison with shell model calculations for two commonly used Hamiltonians in this model space, GXPF1A and KB3G of the shell-model code NuShellX and the quasiparticle random phase approximation (QRPA), as well as an extension of QRPA that includes higher-order nucleonic calculations, available data. The summing NaI(Tl) (SuN) detector, the A1900 separator, the National Superconducting Cyclotron Laboratory.
