Universal Effective Charges in the sd and fp Shells

RADIOACTIVITY ⁵⁴Ca(β^-), ⁵⁴Sc(IT), (β^-) [from ⁹Be(⁸²Se, X)⁵²K/⁵⁴K, E not given]; measured decay products, Eγ, Iγ, Β-γ-coin.: deduced γ-ray energies and relative intensities, isomeric T_1/2, B(E2), J, π, tentative level scheme, universal set of effective charges can be used across the sd and fp shells. Comparison with semiempirical and ab initio shell-model calculations.
