New short-lived isomer in 128Xe
RADIOACTIVITY 128Xe(IT) [from 122Sn(13C, 3nα), E=65 MeV]; measured decay products, Eγ, Iγ; deduced γ-ray energies, J, π, level scheme, bands, isomeric state T1/2, an unexpected hindrance. Comparison with projected shell-model calculations. GALILEO high-resolution detector array, the Tandem-XTU accelerator of the INFN-Legnaro National Laboratory.
