Quenching of the octupole rotational band in 71Ge
NUCLEAR REACTIONS 62Ni(14C, nα), E=50 MeV; measured reaction products, Eγ, Iγ, γ-γ-coin; deduced γ-ray energies and relative intensities, initial and final state J, π, DCO ratios, multipolarities, level scheme, negative- and positive-parity states, level T1/2, B(E2), B(M1) from a DSAM analysis of line shapes, branching ratios. Comparison with shell-model (SM) calculations using the cosmo code. The John D. Fox Superconducting Accelerator Facility at Florida State University (FSU).
